Presteigne St Andrews FC’s chairman Andy Crowe has announced it’s planned to hold a pitch inspection on Friday afternoon ahead of the planned Central Wales Cup tie against Hay St Mary’s.
‘Crowie’ has clearly had a very close eye on the incoming weather that is scheduled to hit the area later in the day.
”With the severe weather warnings, this evening’s fixture at Llanandras Park will be subject to a pitch inspection,” said Andy.
”This will take place later this afternoon and will incorporate a health and safety decision for players and supporters at that time.”
A look on a weather radar website confirms we are due to face heavy rain in the run up to kick off time this evening although, of course, that situation might well change as the day progresses.
