Hay, at home, goes ahead as planned

Presteigne St Andrews FC’s scheduled Central Wales Cup first-round tie at home to Hay St Mary’s on Friday, 9 November will go ahead as planned.

The worst of the predicted weather fortunately passed by Llanandras Park and so it will be ‘Game On’ this evening.

Club officials took a look at the pitch earlier this afternoon and said it was fine at that point but point out that any further decisions would be at the discretion of the referee.

Hay will clearly be a threat as they are a strong side but matches between the two sides tend to be entertaining affairs.

If you are heading down to Llanandras Park for this one, then the kick off will be at 7.30pm.

Admission will be the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.

It’s hoped to have the result of the game up online at some stage either late on Friday evening or on Saturday morning.
