Both teams away this weekend

A tough day on the road

No football at Llanandras Park this weekend

Presteigne St Andrews will be on the road for their MMP with Norman Lloyd League second division game on Saturday, 16 February.

Shaun Harris’ side will head to Newbridge-on-Wye looking for the points they need to ensure they keep bottom side Aberystwyth University at arm’s length towards the foot of the table.

But they know it will be tough – the home fixture against Newbridge would be enough evidence of that as we were on the wrong end of a 7-0 scoreline on an evening when Newbridge looked a very good side.

As for the Reserves, they are also on the road – Alan Stocker’s side faces a trip to Newcastle for their Mid Wales League (South) fixture.

It’s a fair bet that the management team will be looking for far better than the team produced last week in going down 6-1 at Brecon Northcote Reserves.

It’s hoped to have the results of both games up online at some stage on either Saturday evening for Sunday morning but here’s hoping both sides have something to show for their efforts come five o’clock on Saturday night.
