Presteigne Reserves will be back in action on Wednesday, 17 April when they will host Penybont United in a Mid Wales League (South) fixture.
This is a rearranged fixture after the game was last due to be played on Tuesday, 9 April but was postponed then due to aa waterlogged pitch.
Penybont are usually a good side at this level and, after a few seasons in the Mid Wales League, they have returned to the ‘South’ where they are currently in fourth place in the table.
‘The Bont’ are odds on to finish fourth – they can’t make the top three and only Builth Wells Reserves are able to overhaul them.
But a win for the Reserves in this one would take them above Brecon Northcote in the table so there is plenty on this for Alan Stocker’s side, too.
The kick off at Llanandras Park on Wednesday evening will be at 7.30pm and admission prices will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
