Builth provide the opposition as the Reserves bring down the curtain on their season

Presteigne Reserves will complete their Mid Wales League (South) season on Wednesday, 24 April when they will host Builth Wells Reserves at Llanandras Park.

Alan Stocker’s side warmed up for this game with a fine result at champions-elect Talgarth Town on Saturday, 20 April.

That game doubled up as a Hay St Mary’s Ron Ellis Cup tie and the Reserves came through on penalties after the sides had drawn 1-1 in the game itself.

Full credit to the Ressies for what was a great result at a Talgarth side that has been a force to be reckoned with in the division this season.

Talgarth have won 18 of their 22 matches so this illustrates just how good a result this was for the Reserves.

As for Builth Wells Reserves, they could still finish fifth in the table were they to win at Llanandras Park on Wednesday evening.

The Ressies could finish as high as eighth were they to take the three points in this one so there is enough incentive for both sides to make this an entertaining game.

The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at the later-than-normal time of 7.45pm and admission prices will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
