Another quick reminder the dinner and awards night is getting ever closer – this is to be held at the clubhouse on Saturday 4 June.
Anyone who hasn’t yet bought their ticket and who wants to be there needs to speak to either Alan Randell or Dot Griffiths as soon as possible.
Clearly, due to the size of the clubhouse we are restricted as to the numbers we can accommdate for the meal with any degree of comfort so tickets will be sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Tickets will cost £20.00 per head and this includes the meal (obviously) and entertainment from singer and guitarist Phil Weaver later in the evening – anyone who has seen him in past will now Phil is good entertainment value.
There will also be the awards and speeches from the respective team managers etc as they reflect on the season just gone.
So, if you intend on being there and haven’t yet paid for your ticket then please make sure you contact either Alan or Dot as they want the money in advance of the night so rather than spending half the evening trying to balance the books they can actually enjoy it with the rest of us.
I have now decided to take out a superinjunction about the time, date and format of the dinner – that way everybody will get to hear about it…..
