Training match on Sunday, 1 July

Is it me, or is the close season getting shorter every year?

Presteigne St Andrews FC’s manager Adriano Girolami has confirmed the first training session of pre-season will take place on Sunday, 1 July.

In a text to all players (and some old, former players!) Adge says he will take the training session himself and it will then be followed by a full-scale practice match.

The full session will last from 11.00am until 2.00pm and players wishing to take part will need to bring training kit with them, although the kit for the match will be provided.

The bar will be available after the game, while showers will also be provided and Adge is looking for as good a turn out as possible.

“I would be grateful if any players planning on taking part could get in touch with me – most will have had a text – but there is a chance one or two might have slipped through the net,” he said.

“This would save me chasing people for different games and this way we can see how it is going to be.

“If you text me back, then I will give you a ring nearer to the date to confirm all the details.”
