Eyes down for a fundraising full house…

BingoPresteigne St Andrews will be holding a fund-raising bingo night at the Royal British Legion Club on Saturday 5 December when eyes down will be at 8.00pm.

This event is being organised by the club chairman Alan Randell and Paula Bufton and they assure us they already have lots of excellent prizes.

Despite this, they say more prizes are required to ensure the success of the evening, so if you can help out in any way, then please let Paula or Alan know by email.   If it is easier, you can email the site and I will gladly pass on the relevant information.

Paula and Alan stress that you haven’t got to be especially creative about the kind of prize that you can offer as they are quite happy to accept cash which could then go towards the purchase of larger prizes.

But they are stressing that speed is of the essence here – if you can donate a prize, then they really do need to know as soon as possible and anyone who has ever been involved in the organising of such fund-raising events will appreciate their position.

There are plenty of other fundraising events on the way – not least of which is the Christmas draw as organised by Dot Griffiths (again, all offers of prizes would be much appreciated), while there will also be a music night among other things.   More details on the way in the coming week or so.
