It has been confirmed Presteigne St Andrews FC’s annual Beer Festival and Fun Day will be held on Sunday, 25 August.
As well as the usual fine array or real ales for you delectation and delight, there will be a host of other attractions for people to enjoy.
Among these will be an Over 40s football match, while there will be plenty of sideshows and then live music in the evening.
There will be the ‘duck drop’ in which 500 yellow plastic ducks are tipped from the front of a large tractor with the one that lands in a bucket winning a prize.
If you are reading this from overseas, or even a more urban part of this country – yes, this is what passes for entertainment in this corner of Mid Wales!
But is all brings home the bacon, so your support for the event would be very welcome in whatever form that support might come.
More details will be on the way soon, but please put the date in your diary as the Beer Festival and Fun Day is one of the club’s primary fundraising events each year.
