Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Under 18 have an attractive pre-season game on Thursday, 5 September when they will take on Hereford United’s Under 18s at Llanandras Park.
The Skrill Premier club approached Presteigne several weeks ago to see if Roy Simcock’s side fancied the fixture and they didn’t need asking twice.
It is hoped there will be a good turnout for the game, not only to see the youngsters from Edgar Street, but also to run the rule over Roy’s side as they prepare for the coming season.
The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 7.30pm, so here’s hoping we get a game to match the occasion.
Presteigne St Andrews’ Under 18s will again compete in the HFA Floodlit Youth League this season, as well as the Giantkillers Cup.
The early-season fixtures have been released and these will be put on the club website early next week.
