Presteigne St Andrews FC’s chairman Alan Randell informs me the Under 18s’ scheduled match against Llandrindod Wells has been called off.
This match was due to be played at Llanandras Park on Thursday, 26 September but we learned yesterday it would not now be going ahead.
We are told that this is because Llandrindod Wells were unable to raise a side for tonight’s game, although this is yet to be confirmed.
No doubt manager Roy Simcock and his squad will be disappointed as they would have been keen to try to get things back on track after the defeat at Westfields last time out.
But at least with there being only five clubs in the HFA Floodlit Youth League this season, there should not be too many problems when it comes to finding an alternative date.
As soon as we do have the details of any new date, these will be posted on the website.
