Presteigne St Andrews FC continues to build towards the new season and the club’s new committee has come up with an additional way for companies to back their local club even if they don’t feel they can afford the cost of a full advertising hoarding at Llanandras Park.
“We are very grateful to all those companies and individuals who have repeatedly supported the club by taking out an advertising hoarding,” said vice-chairman Tom Ammonds.
“But we realise that, for some smaller companies, the costs of a full hoarding could be prohibitive as clearly times are still hard for a lot of firms.
“So, we have decided to offer a slightly different option in that people or businesses will be able to buy one of 12 spots on a board that is to be fixed to the side of the clubhouse,” he added.
The space on the new board will cost only £35.00 for the season and it’s felt this would be within the price range of both companies and any individuals who might like to support the club in this way.
The committee is keen to ensure the club is self-sustaining and is therefore always interested in bringing on board new sponsors.
The spaces will be sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis but there would always be the scope to do a second board should the demand be there.
