We’re on the road – twice!

Presteigne St Andrews FC
Football was back at Llanandras Park on Saturday.

Presteigne St Andrews FCThe draws have been made for the next rounds of both the Welsh Cup and the FAW Trophy and Presteigne St Andrews FC will be on the road for both matches.

In the Welsh Cup, our reward for the victory over Newbridge on Saturday, 30 August is an away trip to Llanrhaedr in the second qualifying round.

This is a tough-looking game as Llanrhaeadr are in the Spar Mid Wales League, first division and were in the Cymru Alliance only last season.

We won't have to wait too long to play the game, though – it is due to be staged on Saturday, 13 September.

Meanwhile, the draw has been made for the next round of the FAW Trophy and it will be another trip to a Spar Mid Wales League, first division club in this competition.

Bow Street will play hosts to Jamie Allen's side in the second round of the Trophy and, again, that tie will come around pretty swiftly as we are due to head to that corner of Ceredigion a week later on Saturday, 20 September.

Again, this looks as though it will be a decent work out as Bow Street have started their season well – they are unbeaten in thei first four matches.

More details on those games as and when they come to hand but, one thing is for certain, the boys are going to be racking up the miles in September!
