Another Friday-night home game for the first team

A reminder that it will again be Friday-night football for the first team this week when they will host Rhosgoch Rangers on Friday, 5 December.

This game is a first-round tie in the Spar Mid Wales League Cup and it is likely to prove a very good test of Jamie Allen’s side.

Rhosgoch were the side to catch in the Spar Mid Wales League, second division last season and they were deservedly promoted to the first division at the end of it.

The step up in class has held few perils for those from Crow Lane as they have settled into life very well in division one and are currently sitting in second place in the table.

They have lost only two of their opening 15 league games and have won four of seven on the road, so travelling away doesn’t appear much of a handicap.

Our thanks to Andy Weale who has kindly sponsored this match – a game that will go to extra time and penalties should the need arise.

Friday night’s match is due to kick off at 7.30pm and it’s hoped to have the result and some kind of an outline report up online later in the evening.

The admission prices will be the usual £2.50 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
