Presteigne Reserves’ Mid Wales League (South) derby game against Knighton Town Reserves at Llanandras Park has been brought forward to Friday, 1 May.
I am not entirely sure of the reasons for this decision but am quietly assuming it is not because either BT Sport or Sky came waving a large cheque in our direction….
Anyway, the game was due to be played on Saturday, 2 May but the sides have agreed on the Friday-night game instead.
Please note this match will kick off at the earlier time of 7.00pm, so don’t roll up at 7.25pm or you will have missed a large chunk of the first half.
One thing is for sure, Knighton Reserves will know the route well – they are due to play at Llanandras Park on Tuesday night in a Sparey Cup semi-final as well.
So, start the weekend early with a bit of derby action at Llanandras Park – Friday, 1 May with a 7.00pm kick off.
