Presteigne St Andrews FC’s vice-chairman Tom Ammonds has issued a request for volunteer painting staff to help out at Llanandras Park on the morning of Saturday, 18 July.
“We are after anyone who would be willing to come down to the club on Saturday morning to help with a little painting,” said Tom.
“The plan is to do a couple of hours then get ready for the Carnival that is likely to involve a few beers in the afternoon.
“The more painters we have, the quicker it will be to get the job done, but you will need to bring your own brushes etc,” he added.
Anyone who can help out is being urged to turn up at Llanandras Park on Saturday morning, armed with their own paint brush.
If there is an official start time, then no doubt Tom will let me know but, bearing in mind it is a Saturday, and this follows a Friday night, I would think that, were you to aim to get there for 10.00am, that would probably be about right….
