Presteigne St Andrews FC will head to Churchstoke for their latest Spar Mid Wales League, second-division match on Saturday, 3 October.

Churchstoke are four points better off than Presteigne but have played a game more.

They currently sit in seventh place in the table and have won two and drawn one of their four home league games so far this season.

But the Shropshire club enjoyed a good September – in their most recent outing, they drew 1-1 at Penybont but, before that, they were 3-1 winners at Dyffryn Banw; 5-1 victors at Bont, while they also beat Newbridge 6-1 at home.

As for the Reserves, they will be at Llanandras Park for their Mid Wales League (South) game against St Harmon.

The sides are locked together on seven points in the bottom half of the league table, although the Ressies have played one game more than tomorrow’s visitors.

The Swifts have had mixed fortunes on the road of late – very mixed, in fact.

Two games ago, they were thumped 7-1 at Brecon Town, but they then recovered last time out to win 2-0 against Builth Wells Reserves at Lant Field.

The Reserves’ game against St Harmon will kick off at 2.30pm and admission will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
