Presteigne St Andrews FC’s scheduled Spar Mid Wales League, second-division game at Borth United on Saturday, 25 February will now be played at Aberystwyth Town FC.
News has reached us that Borth’s Uppingham Playing Fields are waterlogged and so the home side has moved quickly to make alternative arrangements.
The game will now be played on Aberystwyth Town FC’s 3G pitch with all the other arrangements staying as they were – including the kick off time of 2.15pm.
Well done to Borth United for making an early call on this one as – with the prospect of the remnants of ‘Storm Doris’ due to sweep across the area in the next 24 hours or so – it was unlikely the situation would improve any time between now and the weekend.
