Presteigne Reserves and Presteigne St Andrews will both have home pre-season matches this coming weekend as both sides continue to build towards the new season.

The Reserves will be first up when they will host Clee Hill at Llanandras Park on Friday, 28 July.

The kick off in that one will be at 7.30pm and managers Mark Weiland and Alan Stocker will be looking to build on their opening performance of the summer in which they drew 3-3 at Holme Lacy Reserves last weekend.

Then, on Saturday, 29 July, the first team will be back in action when they will take on Holme Lacy at Llanandras Park.

Manager Shaun Harris will look to his side to build on the plus points they took from their performance at Radnor Valley last weekend.

While they were beaten 4-2 on that match, there were still positives – especially in the first quarter-of-an-hour in the second half when Presteigne took the game to their Spar League Division One hosts.

If you want to see a couple of highlights from late in that Radnor game then you can do so by clicking here or on the image at the top of this story.

So, plenty of football to see at Llanandras Park this weekend with games on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

There will be a collection taken at both games in an attempt to offset some of the costs of match officials.
