We’re away at Waterloo Rovers in the CWFA Cup third round

Presteigne St Andrews FC will travel to Waterloo Rovers in the third round of the Central Wales FA Cup.

Shaun Harris’ side booked its place in round three after a 5-2 win over Newbridge-on-Wye on Saturday, 25 November.

Waterloo Rovers were until recently members of the Spar Mid Wales League, but they opted to return to local football in the Montgomeryshire Amateur League.

There, they currently sit in fourth place in the table – at least, the most recent table I could find.

In the league, their away from is better than their home record, but they will certainly fancy their chances against us, so the first team will have to be on their guard and will be taking nothing for granted.

This tie is scheduled for Saturday, 6 January 2018 when the kick off will be at 1.30pm.
