Officials at Presteigne St Andrews FC have confirmed there will be a committee meeting on Wednesday, 14 March.
This is to be held at the Farmers Inn and is due to get underway at 7.30pm.
This meeting is to replace the one originally scheduled for Tuesday, 13 March before it was discovered this clashed with Champions Day at Cheltenham and a large proportion of the committee would be donating their hard-earned money ‘in support of sick animals’.
Well, that was the way it turned out for me, and I don’t suppose I was the only one.
Anyway, the committee meeting will now be on Wednesday, 14 March, in the Farmers Inn at 7.30pm and all committee members are urged to attend if at all possible.
Already thoughts will be turning towards the Annual Dinner and Awards Evening and the AGM, while the recent proposed changes to the structure of Welsh football might also get an airing.
So, if you can possibly attend, please be there – if you can’t, then please pass on your apologies.
