Presteigne St Andrews FC’s chairman Andy Crowe has put out an appeal on behalf of the town’s Carnival Committee.
If there are any players, officials or supporters of the club who might be able and willing to help out the Carnival Committee at this year’s event, then please could you contact Beth Davies.
The Carnival will take place on Saturday, 14 July and is based largely at the top playing fields although there will be a procession through the town beforehand – this starts at the John Beddoes School.
As with all events, the Carnival takes a lot of organising and there is a relatively small committee who rely on the support and help of volunteers if they are to ensure the day is a success.
It has been a really good day out in the past few years and those organising it deserve our support and help.
So, if you can spare a few hours to help them it would be very much appreciate and, as we say, please get in touch with Beth Davies in the first instance.
Failing that, have a word with ‘Crowie’ or someone on the committee and they will point you in the right direction.
