After weeks and weeks of the jackpot building nicely, ‘Drawmeister-in-Chief’ Tom Ammonds has tonight confirmed that the top prize has been claimed.
Many congratulations to Claudia Clark and Rose Weiland who each came up with the winning combination of numbers for the draw made at the Farmers Inn on Sunday, 22 July.
I don’t yet know the four numbers that were drawn out of the hat, but the jackpot was standing at £8,023 so it will presumably be split fifty-fifty between our two winners.t
While we’re obviously delighted for both winners, club officials will, perhaps, be especially pleased that our treasurer Rose Weiland will be able to count some money of her own as a result of this.
After all, she spends most of the rest of the year counting money for the club so it’s lovely that one of our key committee members is among those claiming the prize.
Rose might well find herself in the slightly unusual position of having to present herself with a cheque!
The next draw will be on Sunday, 29 July when it will, as usual, take place at The Farmers Inn.
