Presteigne St Andrews FC were beaten 2-1 in their MMP with Norman Lloyd second-division game at Dolgellau on Saturday, 8 September.

Presteigne’s club chairman Andy Crowe was among those who made the trip to north Wales for this one.

This was his summary of the afternoon’s proceedings:

“We got off to a slow start and a patchy first-half performance saw Presteigne give away two poor goals.

“This was to cost them as chances came and went either side of a Ewan Rhodes goal on 70 minutes.

So, a frustrating afternoon for manager Shaun Harris and the squad as well as those who made the trip in support of the side.

Next up for the first team will be a home game against Four Crosses in the second round of the FAW Trophy.

This game will be at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 15 September when the kick off is scheduled for 2.30pm.
