Presteigne Reserves’ up and down season continued on Wednesday, 4 September when they went down 4-1 in their Mid Wales League (South) game at Llandrindod Wells Reserves.
The home side opened up a two-goal first-half lead when they profited from errors at the back by the Reserves.
But Bryn Roberts’ side responded and closed the gap with a long-range lob from Liam Blythe.
Llan’dod’s second string stepped it up again and regained their two-goal advantage before the break.
They went on to secure the points when they scored again in the second half to close out a 4-1 victory.
With no game on Saturday, the Reserves will have a bit of time in which to regroup before they are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, 14 September.
