Presteigne St Andrews FC were beaten 4-0 at home by Rhayader Town in their second MMP with Norman Lloyd second division game of the Christmas period.
After the disappointments of the late 4-3 Boxing Day defeat at Knighton Town, Alan Stocker’s side have known Rhayader Town were likely to present a decent test.
This was the way it proved as Rhayader ran out comfortable victors.
Presteigne will be fervently hoping the new year brings with it a change of luck as it’s now 13 successive defeats for the first team.
This run stretches back to 30 August when Presteigne St Andrews beat Knighton Town 3-0 at Llanandras Park.
The first league game of 2020 will be at home to Dolgellau on Saturday, 4 January when the kick off will be at 2.00pm.
