We are closing in on another weekend and both sides are due to take to the field on Saturday, 11 January.

Alan Stocker’s first team will play hosts to Forden United in a MMP with Norman Lloyd League second-division game at Llanandras Park.

Clearly, the first team could seriously do with a win but Forden appear to have adapted very well to life in the division after promotion into it at the end of last season.

They currently sit in fifth place in the table with a very solid away record – they have won four and drawn one of their seven away games this season.

They have won their last two league matches – a 2-0 home victory against Abermule last weekend and an impressive 3-1 success at Waterloo Rovers on Boxing Day.

Meanwhile, the Reserves will head to Felindre for what is something of a basement battle in the Mid Wales League (South).

Bryn Roberts’ side will be aiming for its third league win of the season against a Felindre side that is currently bottom of the table with only one victory in its opening 14 matches.

A reminder that the first team game will kick off at 2.00pm and admission prices will be the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
