The draws have been made for the semi-finals of both of Presteigne St Andrews FC’s cup competitions.
These invitational competitions will hopefully provide us with some good competitive football with which to end the season.
All the ties – semi-finals and finals – will be played at Llanandras Park.
So, there should be a feast of good football to see – assuming the weather dries up some time this side of the next Millennium.
The semi-final draw for the Presteigne Otway Cup for senior clubs is:
Llandrindod Wells v Newbridge-on-Wye
Presteigne St Andrews v Radnor Valley
Meanwhile, the draw for the semi-finals of the Alfred Sparey Memorial Cup for junior clubs has been made and it has come up with the following pairings:
Llanidloes Town Reserves v Leominster Town
Presteigne Reserves v Felindre.
Club officials will be in touch with those competing sides to arrange mutually convenient dates for the ties.
As soon as we have those dates finalised we will post them on the website and the club’s social media feeds.
Here’s hoping we have some exciting ties with which to round off the season.
