This year's dinner will be at the Burton Hotel in Kington

… no, really, they are.   Dot Griffiths updated the committee at Monday night’s meeting and told us there are already more than 70 people planning on being at the Burton Hotel for the club’s annual dinner and awards night on Saturday 5 June.

If you are planning on being there and have not let Dot know, then please do so as soon as possible as we are at the point now where she really needs to know so as to be able to liaise with caterers etc.

If you have said you intend on being there but have not yet undergone the surgery required to prise open your wallet or purse to come up with the £25.00 required then this time is also very much upon us.

Dot (or any other committee member) doesn’t want to spend their night trying to beat the money out of those who haven’t paid so please make sure you have paid up before the night itself.

If you are still trying to decide whether to go or not,  go on – spoil yourself….  After all, we have had a good season so it ought to be a very good night with plenty to celebrate .

There will be with rivetting speeches from the four managers, all expertly mc’d in his own inimitable style by the living legend that is club chairman Alan Randell… well, that is what is says on the note he gave me, anyway(!)

Basically, all you need to know is: Saturday 5 June, strictly 7.00pm for 7.30pm and £25.00 per ticket.

You will be responsible for finding your own transport to and from Kington so if you are planning on being there it might be an idea to get hold of a taxi firm pretty sharpish.
