Tim Broome admitted his side has been a distant second in their Spar Mid Wales League game against Bow Street who left Llanandras Park with a thoroughly deserved 4-1 win.

Nick Evans netted what proved to be Presteigne’s consolation goal in the second half of a game played in very hot conditions, but most of the home-team supporters would have left the ground feeling their team is still a long way off being the finished article.

A full match report is on the first-team page of the site.
