Presteigne St Andrews’ proposed pre-season friendly match at Woofferton that was due to be played one evening this coming week has been cancelled.
Presteigne manager Barry Williams said the cancellation was unavoidable.
“Like us, their pitch isn’t quite ready to play on just yet and so we have had to call off the game,” he said.
“So, unless we can find someone else to play at very short notice we are planning on having a training game.
“This will be a full-scale training match between the first team and the Reserves on the school field,” he added.
Presteigne St Andrews are then due to Llandrindod Wells for their next pre-season match on Saturday 31 July when the kick off will be at 2.30pm.
