Presteigne St Andrews will enter the Welsh Cup at the second preliminary round stage when they will head to Ammanford Town on Saturday 28 August.

Manager Barry Williams was hoping to finalise his squad at a Thursday-night training session, but he will definitely be without the injured duo of Callum Matthews and Max Powell.

Ioan Hughes is also a doubt due to a knee problem while Richie Wilding is unavailable and Tom Watkins will also be missing as he is due to attend a wedding.

Ammanford Town play in the South Wales League second division in which they finished fifth last season.

They are due to open their league programme next Wednesday evening, 1 September, when they will head to Newcastle Emlyn.

They have a website, so if you fancy doing your homework on this weekend’s opposition then you can check them out here.
