Presteigne St Andrews Under 18s were due to play a HFA Floodlit Youth League match at Leominster Minors this evening (Wednesday 1 December) but the match has been called off.
At the risk of stating the bleedin’ obvious, this was because of the state of the pitch at Leominster which Under 18s’ boss Trevor Gummer advises me is ‘rock hard’.
So, another game to rearrange and, as things stand, it is not looking to good for the weekend matches either but we will keep you across the prospects for the first team’s home match against Penparcau and the Reserves’ proposed trip to Hay St Marys as the week unfolds.
The Under 18s are next due in action on Wednesday 8 December when they are due to head to The Broadway to take on Llandrindod Wells.
