Trevor still keen to bring in new players

The first team got off to a convincing start at the weekend

Presteigne St Andrews FC’s manager Trevor Gummer feels he is still some way short of where he would like to be in terms of his squad and so shares in BT are likely to be holding up well over the next week or so.

“We are still three players short for this season so the phone will be red hot over this week,” he said following Saturday’s 9-o home pre-season win over Woofferton.

“The main issue is still in the goalkeeping department due to a lack of good keepers in the area.

“However, we will have at least one signed by Thursday with more on the way after that,” he added.
