Presteigne St Andrews FC will hold its annual dinner and awards night this coming Saturday evening, 19 May.
Club chairman Alan Randell is urging all those attending to make sure they are on time for the evening which is due to get underway at 7.00pm.
“I would ask that everyone please be on time for the evening as it can be a very long night with speeches and presentations, so we don’t want a late start,” he said.
“Last year we had a few people wandering in late during the meal which didn’t look good, especially when everyone knew they had been in the pub.
“It should be a really good evening and we will be welcoming some of our friends from Ligne who are over for the weekend and who are attending the dinner,” he added.
Alan and club secretary Paula are urging anyone attending the dinner who hasn’t yet paid for their ticket to make every effort to get the money to them beforehand.
Neither the chairman or the secretary has any burning desire to spend most of their evening collecting money, so please try to get your money to them before the night itself.
