It won’t come as a great surprise to hear that the Central Wales Cup tie against Aberystwyth University on Tuesday, 22 January has again been called off.
The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, 5 January but was called off then as the University side said they had a funeral to attend.
It was rescheduled for tomorrow night, but the heavy snow of the past few days, combined with the threat we could get a bit more, as well as possible freezing overnight temperatures meant there was only ever going to be one decision over this one.
Assuming both sides are in agreement, club secretary Paul Randell tells me the tie will now be played on Tuesday, 5 February when the kick off will be at 7.30pm.
That is now three successive first-team matches that have been called off due to the weather so Danny Williams, Bobby Morgan and the squad will be hoping for better luck on Saturday, 26 January when they are due to go to Hay St Marys.
