Following hot – or should that be cold – on the heels of the first team game against Aberystwyth University, now comes news the Under 18s’ scheduled match at Pegasus Juniors on Wednesday, 23 January has also been called off.
To be fair to Peggie, there is no great surprise in this in that vast tracts of the region is still blanketed by snow and so this will be another blank week for Roy Simcock and his Under 18s squad.
The Under 18s last played a full game on Wednesday, 7 November – their last seven matches have been postponed – while the one before that at home to Fownhope was abandoned.
This could all lead to a very busy second half to the season for the Under 18s – the fixtures have been updated on the drop down menu that can be accessed from the Under 18s tab at the top of the page.
The next game will again be at Pegasus when the Under 18s will travel there on Thursday, 31 January for their much-delayed HFA Giantkillers Cup tie.
