Congratulations to the Reserve-team management duo of Mark Weiland and Barry Williams who have been named Managers of the Month for February in the Mid Wales League (South).
This award was no great surprise given the Reserves are on a five-game winning streak that culminated in last weekend’s 2-1 home success over Talgarth Town Reserves last weekend.
Included in that run was an impressive 4-0 success at home to title hopefuls Penybont, so it is not as though the Ressies’ recent run has seen them pick off the division’s bottom clubs in that run.
So, well done to ‘Weedo’ and Baz – here’s hoping the curse of the Manager of the Month award doesn’t strike this weekend when they head to Knighton Town Reserves for the derby game in the Mid Wales League (South).
