The AGM saw the election of new people to key positions

Presteigne St Andrews FC held their Annual General Meeting at Llanandras Park on Tuesday, 4 June.

The club would like to thank those who attended the meeting when the following officers were elected for the 2013-14 season.

The new President is Mr Tony Wood.  Tony is a past chairman and much valued supporter of the club and said he was ‘delighted’ to accept the new post.

There were five new vice-presidents elected – details will be posted online as soon as they become available to me.

Alan Randell continues as club chairman, but he will have a new vice-chairman as Tom Edwards had indicated some time ago that, due to a change of circumstances, he felt he would be unable to continue in the post.

Mark Weiland was elected vice-chairman, with Paula Randell continuing as secretary and Rose Weiland as Treasurer.

Trevor Owens will remain as Minute Secretary, but he has relinquished the cup secretary’s role which is to be taken on by Tom Ammonds.

The committee was re-elected en bloc, with the addition of Andrew Williams, with Tom Edwards and Phil Parker opting to step down from the committee.

The club would like to place on record its thanks to both Tom and Phil for the efforts they have put over a number of years.

More details of the AGM will be posted as and when they become available – apologies for the slightly vague nature of this report, but I have only had the ‘headlines’ as work got in the way and I wasn’t able to attend the meeting.
