New Vice-Presidents at Llanandras Park

Presteigne St Andrews FC
Football - remember that?

Presteigne St Andrews FCCongratulations to those who were elected vice-presidents of Presteigne St Andrews FC at the recent Annual General Meeting.

Five people who have given great service to the club over the years were afforded the honour and we are grateful to them for their efforts in the past and hope they remain with us for a long time to come.

Those ‘elevated to the peerage’ include Mick Mills, who has been a long-time supporter of the club on a number of levels and Geoff Brown who falls into a similar category and who still helps out at Llanandras Park.

Edward Traylor was also elected – Edward’s family have a long association with the club and the Under 18s still play for his father’s cup every year.

Karl Chapman is a former player and manager at Llanandras Park, while he is also our ‘go to’ man for all matters electrical when things go wrong in that department.

The fifth person to be elected was our current club secretary Paula Randell and this, too, is well deserved recognition for someone who does loads of work behind the scenes for very little recognition.

Congratulations, too, to Tony Wood who was elected President at the Annual General Meeting.  Tony takes over from Mike ‘Nobby’ Lockwood and we hope he enjoys his two-year term as President.
