Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Radnorshire Cup tie at Sennybridge that was due to be played on Sunday, 27 October, has been postponed.
The Breconshire club informed Presteigne officials shortly after today’s league matches that there was no way they would be able to stage the match tomorrow.
The ‘bridge hosted Talgarth Town Reserves in a Mid Wales League (South) fixture this afternoon and they reported that their pitch had been pretty well ploughed up as a result of that game.
So, a new date will be arranged for the game, but it won’t be next Sunday (3 November) as the first team had asked for the game not be played that day due to the fact they are at a function on the Saturday night.
It is likely the game will now be played in a fortnight’s time – so, Sunday, 10 November – but this is yet to be confirmed.
As soon as we have confirmation of the new date we will post it here – well, when I say ‘we’, I actually mean ‘I’!
