Presteigne St Andrews FC’s chairman Alan Randell tells me the details have been finalised for the J Emrys Morgan Cup semi-final in which Presteigne Reserves will take on Caersws Reserves.
The tie will be played on Wednesday, 26 March at Rhayader Town FC when the kick off will be at 7.30pm.
It is hoped as many Presteigne fans as possible will make the trip to the Weirglodd to get behind the Reserves for what will be their biggest game for years.
Player-manager Mark Weiland acknowledges this is going to be a very testing month on all fronts as – in addition to the Emrys Morgan Cup semi-final – they also have a tough run of games in the Mid Wales League (South).
These include ‘double-headers’ against two other title hopefuls in Sennybridge and Penybont, although things starte well last Saturday when they inflicted on Sennybridge what was the Breconshire club’s first league defeat of the season.
