Presteigne St Andrews FC's website is in line for a facelift in the coming weeks as the march of technology means the present system doesn't always support the various mobile devices many now use to access t'interweb.
I won't bore you with the particulars, but every now and again the system we use to post news and match reports etc goes through various changes and, after a while, there are no more upgrades available on the design of the site we currently have.
This situation reared its head yesterday when trying to post various photographs of new sponsorship deals and the like and so I have been on to our website guru who is going to look into it for me.
Given that we have been online since August 2009 and this would be only the second major revamp we would have had since then, we are probably about due another one.
This means there could be a few disruptions in normal service over the coming days and weeks while the guru works his oracle and sorts things out.
Apparently, it's a bit more technical than hitting it very hard with a lump of 4 x 2…. so, that's me out of the revamp, then.
Apologies in advance for any disruption in service, but we'll try to get it done as seamlessly as possible.
