Presteigne St Andrews FC face a difficult-looking trip to Llanidloes Town. In the first round of the Radnorshire Cup on Tuesday, 23 September.
This is fast becoming something of an annual fixture between the sides as we met last season when Presteigne ran out 5-1 winners at Llanandras Park.
In the 2012-13 season we also had home advantage in the quarter-final tie in which The Daffs ran out 2-1 victors with Ryan Stokes netting our consolation goal.
But a Tuesday night in Llanidloes is guaranteed to be a good test for Jamie Allen’s side, so they’re going to have to be at their best in this one.
The manager and players will know better than most that they will need to seriously step things up from the weekend if they are to maintain their interest in the county cup.
The kick off at Llanidloes will be at 7.30pm and it’s hoped to have the result up online at some stage on Tuesday night.
