Disappointment under the Llanandras Park lights

Presteigne St Andrews slipped to a disappointing 4-3 home defeat by Talgarth Town in their Spar Mid Wales League, second division match at Llanandras Park on Friday, 3 October.

I have no details on goalscorers etc as yet, but will add these in as and when they arrive, but obviously they side’s defensive frailties were again exposed as they shipped a further four goals.

This is an area the presumably the management team will be focusing on as the side is averaging almost four goals per game against and it will be very difficult for them to do anything this season unless that situation improves.

This result, combined with others elsewhere across the weekend mean the side has now slipped to within a point of the bottom of the table and so October is promising to be an important month as they look to turn things around.

The club would like to thank Mike Lewis from Castle Road for his generous sponsorship of this match.
