‘Weedo’ will be after points on the road at Brecon Northcote

After a week off due to the J Emrys Morgan Cup, in which they have a bye through to the third round, Presteigne Reserves will return to Mid Wales League (South) action on Saturday, 15 November.

Mark Weiland will take his side to Brecon Northcote for a first-ever league meeting between the sides as the Breconshire club joined the league this season.

As with ‘Weedo’s’ side, Northcote have found it tough going so far this campaign and they have a similar record so both will be eyeing this one up as a chance to pick up points.

But there are clear signs Brecon Northcote are starting to find their feet as they have put up some impressive showings in recent games.

They held Newcastle to a 3-3 home draw in their last league outing a fortnight ago, while they were also recent winners at Hay St Marys Reserves in the Pip Samuel (Electrical) League Cup.

Their one league victory so far this season came at Talgarth Town Reserves on Tuesday, 26 August where they ran out 2-1 winners.

Please note – according to the Mid Wales League (South) website, the kick off at Brecon Northcote will be at 2.15pm and it’s hoped to have the result up online later that evening – a trip to Cheltenham Races permitting…
