Bont at home this evening

Thursday-night action at Llanandras Park

Presteigne St Andrews FC will host Bont at Llanandras Park in a rearranged Spar Mid Wales League, second division game on Thursday, 19 March.

This will be about the fourth time of asking for the fixture after the initial game was abandoned due to serious injuries to Presteigne’s Simon Hamer and Bont’s Alex Marsh.

The weather has since intervened on a couple of occasions, but it should be ‘all systems go’ this evening and hopefully Jamie Allen’s side can get the right result.

This game was due to be played on Saturday, 21 March, but Bont requested it be moved and were happy to make the long trip to Llanandras Park for tonight’s game.

In order to allow them a bit of extra time, this evening’s match is scheduled to kick off at that slightly later time of 7.45pm.

In reality, this could be ‘seasonally adjusted’ (as the government might say) in that the 7.45 might be ‘Radnorshire Local Time’ and the game is likely to kick off either at 7.45pm or just after.

Either way, there is a game on at the ground tonight so, if you can get there, I am sure the squad would welcome your support.

Admission will be the usual £2.50 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
