Presteigne Reserves came away from their home match against Builth Wells Reserves with a point after the sides drew 1-1 at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 28 March.

Player-manager Mark Weiland felt his side should have won this match but was guilty of missing too many chances.

But it was good to see another of the club’s emerging talent finding the back of the net as Josh Gardner put the Reserves ahead.

But Builth Reserves were back on level terms before the interval and, despite ‘Weedo’s’ side enjoying the bulk of the possession and the best of the opportunities, they were unable to break through.

But, it is another point for the Reserves as they head into the final five games of the league season and they will be hoping to end the season with a flourish.

The Reserves will return to Mid Wales League (South) action on Wednesday, 1 April when they will host Rhayader Town Reserves at Llanandras Park.

The kick off in that one will be at 7.30pm.
