Presteigne Juniors Under 17s are through to the semi-finals of their end-of-season cup semi-final after they ran out 6-5 winners at Golden Valley.
The Under 17s’ joint-manager Haydn Williams was full of praise for his side’s efforts in this one.
“It was a great performance by everyone involved and we were good value for the win,” he said.
“The goalscorers were: Josh Griffiths with two, Justin Davies, Josh Carini and Josh Gardner, who also scored twice.
“I am not going to single out any player as we were fantastic through the team – there was great passing, great finishing and total commitment.
“The only downside in the whole afternoon was a harsh red card against Joe Davies in the final minutes of the game.
“Let’s go and beat Pegasus Colts in the semi-final.”
