Floodlit action at Llanandras Park on Friday night

Once again, there will be Friday-night football at Llanandras Park when Presteigne Reserves will be in action on 25 September.

Rhayader Town Reserves will be the visitors as Mark Weiland’s side will look to build on last week’s encouraging win over Llanidloes Town Reserves.

But ‘Weedo’ and his side will know they will probably have to be at their best in this one as Rhayader Town Reserves are again expected to be among the sides to beat in the Mid Wales League (South) this season.

The Weirglodd second string is currently a point clear at the top of the table, but they have played more matches than both of the two sides snapping at their heels – Brecon Town and Knighton Town Reserves.

Away from home, Rhayader’s form has been a bit hit and miss in the sense that, in their three road trips so far this season – they have got the full set – one win, one draw and one defeat.

The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 7.30pm and the admission prices will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
